Terra Cultiva uses FAOSTAT Crops and livestock products data. Observations are normalized by country, product, element and year, while geographic aggregates are excluded from country rankings.

2. One series, not one row
A statistical page consolidates the full available history for a country × product pair. Years power charts and trends instead of generating millions of thin URLs.
3. Comparable rankings
World ranks use a sufficiently covered common reference year, avoiding naive comparisons between countries whose latest observations belong to different years.
4. Trends and records
1-, 5- and 10-year changes, CAGR, averages, minima and records are computed automatically from normalized series.
5. Important limitations
International agricultural observations may be official, estimated, imputed or provisional and can be revised over time.
